Sinawal Medical Supplies offers a comprehensive range of hip and knee replacement products, and when we combine this with our personalized approach, we make great products better! Our mission is to provide innovative and high quality implants for orthopedic surgeons as they work to relieve the pain of arthritis and improve the quality of life of their patients. We find ways to make the prostheses affordable and, more importantly, we continually find paths to make the procedure accessible to patients.
The orthopedic industry is a very complex business in the Philippines. Not only do you need to invest financially but you must have the experience, time, dedication, and passion to excel in your field of specialization. When you have survived and learned the trade, it is a very rewarding and gratifying experience.
When we started the company in January 2007, we were faced with a big challenge. We were low in funds and bombarded left and right by competition and other stakeholders in the industry. The name Sinawal is from the name of the barangay where the owner grew up. Sinawal is one of the 26 barangays in General Santos City, Philippines, where the B’laan tribe lives. Sinawal is a B’laan term that means:
“simplicity, humility, and the happy-go-lucky life of a young boy.”
